So this is Nerd-dom
As Jesse noted, we’re just about to roll-out to my very first video game related expo. Not the venerable E3, but a much younger and more nubile Penny-Arcade Expo.
When I look at the forums at penny-arcade about the expo, I have to keep reminding myself not to criticize a group that I am part of, for there at the forums nerds just a few years younger than myself are discussing stratigies for obtaining optimal places in line so as to be the first attendees into the event, as well as stratigies for staying awake for three consecutive days of video game playing. It boggles the mind. But, I’m a part of that group, only seperated by an ill-gotten badge that says “media” on it, and some small interest in other worldly pleasures.
I fear it’s not enough.
